Frequently asked questions

How do I remove silk wrinkles?

Set your washing machine to the delicate cycle and avoid using high temperatures when washing silk, as excessive heat can damage the protein structure of the fabric. Silk is made up of a protein structure that is similar to that of human hair, so high heat can cause it to deteriorate.

How do I wash silk at home?

When washing silk, use a mild detergent and set your machine to a low temperature (around 30°C) on the silk or delicate setting. Avoid using bleach, fabric softeners, or drying silk in a dryer or direct sunlight.

Why does my pillowcase color look different?

Please note that the colors of our products may vary slightly from what you see on our website due to differences in monitor settings.

Unlike other fabrics, silk has a very shiny fiber structure. This is due to the triangular prism-like structure of the silk fibers, which allow the fabric to refract light at different angles and produce different colors. As a result, the surface of silk is shiny and can appear to change colors when viewed from different angles. Hold your silk garment up to the light to see how it reflects differently from other silk garments. The true color of the product you receive may look different under different lighting conditions.

What is a momme?

The weight of silk is measured in momme, with 19 momme silk being considered the ideal weight for silk bedding. Silk with a momme weight lower than 19 may not be suitable for high-quality silk bedding. Beware of sellers who try to sell you lower-quality silk bedding without specifying the momme weight.

Why are silk fibers important?

Thread count is a measure of the coarseness or fineness of certain fabrics, especially cotton. Although it is not a definitive measure of silk fabric quality, it can be a helpful guide when buying silk online.

How do I know the correct size of my pillow?

Measure the length and width of your pillow to select the correct size according to our size chart.

Do you offer a money-back guarantee?

Please note that our products cannot be returned if they have been used or damaged in any way. Once you have used a silk bedding item, you will not be able to return it.
